My lovely visitor from LA and I took a jaunt out to Ft. McHenry, which is only about a quarter of the way from Baltimore to the open Chesapeake Bay, and it took 45 minutes to get there. This is where the Patapsco River empties into the Bay. This spit is HUGE!!

The National Aquarium. The guitar above the Hard Rock Cafe is in the upper left.

Federal Hill. The Visinary Art Museum is immediately to the left of the hill, across the street, but you can't see it in this picture.

Baltimore's resident tall ship, The USS Constellation, built in 1854.

Battleships

Fireboat

Ft. McHenry

Ukranian Church

Fells Point

The top of the original lighthouse was moved to Falls Point.

The side guitar at the top of the Hard Rock Cafe.

The National Aquarium and....

... a submarine!

My lovely visitor! We discovered that we had our hair dyed the exact same way at the same time in June - purplish iwth rose gold highlights! Ha!

Here she is with Merlin. It was love at first snack with these two.
