Day 0.2

We spent the day feverishly packing, organizing and cleaning my room in order to spend the afternoon at the crown jewel of LA: The Huntington Library and Gardens, and later meet dear friends for an au revoir dinner at Burbank's most fabulous Thai place. It didn't happen. Turns out I suck at packing. My brother has been saying this for years. I think I finally believe him. Caitlin pretty much repacked everything I did. Her family is military so she's developed killer spatial relationships skills and I'm incredibly grateful to her. She made the whole go a lot more smoothly. It also turns out my car is considerably smaller than I thought. Looks like when I bought it, I forgot to include the Time Lord Technology feature: Bigger on the inside (even though it's TARDIS blue). SUCKS!!
